ABSTRACT. The genus Parariukiaria Nguyen, 2016 is formally synonymized with, and its type species P. cucfuongensis Nguyen, 2016, from northern Vietnam, transferred to, Riukiaria Attems, 1938, syn.n., hence also warranting the following new combination: R. cucfuongensis (Nguyen, 2016), comb.n. ex Parariukiaria. The species Riukiaria cf. davidiani Golovatch, 2014 is briefly illustrated based on fresh material, being recorded from several localities in Sichuan, China. The distributions of Riukiaria species in southern China and northern Vietnam are updated and mapped.
