Pelecopsis krausi. The relationships of the new genus to the related Pelecopsis Simon, 1864, Trichopterna Kulczy?ski, 1894 and Parapelecopsis Wunderlich, 1992 are discussed. Scutpelecopsis gen.n. exhibits several somatic and genitalic characters that are unique within Erigoninae, Linyphiidae and Aranei.
