ABSTRACT. A new species — Paracedicus darvishi sp.n. (♂) — is described from the holotype male from north-eastern Iran. A detailed morphological description and illustrations of the new species are provided. The new species is closely related to P. gennadii Fet, 1993 and P. feti Marusik et Guseinov, 2003.
