ABSTRACT. Two species of Cryphoeca Thorell, 1870 are reported from the Caucasus, one of which is described as new: viz., C. alexeevi sp.n. (♀, North Ossetia). The female of C. thaleri Wunderlich, 1995 is described for the first time, and the occurrence of this species in the Caucasus is confirmed. The genus Cryphoeca has been recorded from Georgia for the first time.
