ABSTRACT. Seven new species of Parasyrisca Schenkel, 1963 are described from Palaearctic highlands: P. akambai sp.n. (♀, Kazakhstan), P. arashan sp.n. (♀, Uzbekistan), P. chimboy sp.n. (♀, Uzbekistan), P. karagem sp.n. (♂♀, Altai, Russia), P. khalatsa sp.n. (♀, South Ossetia), P. tengizbai sp.n. (♂, Kyrgyzstan) and P. ulusai sp.n. (♀, Kazakhstan). The previously unknown female of P. alai Ovtsharenko, Platnick et Marusik, 1995 and the male of P. sollers (Simon, 1895) are described for the first time. Parasyrisca kyzylart Ovtsharenko, Platnick et Marusik, 1995, syn.n., is newly synonymized with P. alai Ovtsharenko, Platnick et Marusik, 1995. Parasyrisca koksu Ovtsharenko, Platnick et Marusik, 1995 and P. volynkini Fomichev, 2016 are recorded from outside their type localities for the first time. The genus Parasyrisca is recorded from Uzbekistan for the first time. The female of P. koksu is redescribed. The dissected bulb of P. volynkini is illustrated for the first time. Photographs of live Parasyrisca specimens in their natural habitat are provided for the first time.
