ABSTRACT. One species of the subfamily Linyphiinae and five species of Mynogleninae are revealed from the Oromia Region, Ethiopia. Three mynoglenine species are described as new: Afroneta arsi sp.n. (♀), A. minipalpa sp.n. (♂, ♀), and A. montana sp.n. (♂, ♀). All species recorded are illustrated. Neriene kibonotensis (Tullgren, 1910) is recorded from Ethiopia for the first time, being the only representative of Linyphiinae presently known from the country. Taking into account the new data, the spider fauna of Ethiopia is known to include eight mynoglenine species, all of which can be tentatively considered as Ethiopian endemics.
