ABSTRACT. Results of a study of the species composition and distribution of plant bugs (Miridae) from the Reserve “Voroninsky” (Tambov oblast) are presented. 47 mirid species are known from Reserve territory, 19 species are indicated for the first time. Data on the studied material and distribution for each species are given. 40,4% of the species of the studied mirid fauna are characterized by wide ranges in the latitudinal and longitudinal direction (boreal-subtropical holarctic and transpalearctic). The ranges of a some part of polyzonal species in the longitudinal direction extend to Eastern or Western Siberia, only two species are restricted in distribution by the Urals. All species characterized by boreal-subtopic areas prefer open and ecotone biotopes and are trophically associated with mesophytic herbaceous vegetation.
