ABSTRACT. Convolvulus hawk moth Agrius convolvuli (L., 1758) (Lepidoptera, Sphingidae) is recorded for Smolenskaya Oblast for the first time, in spite of the fact that it is known as a long-distance migrant and occurs in the centre of European part of Russia.
