ABSTRACT. The study of Scarabaeoidea beetles in the regions of the Far Eastern Federal district of Russia, namely Republic of Buryatia, Zabaykalskii Krai, Republic of Yakutia, Chukotskii Autonomous District, Kamchatskii Krai, Magadanskaya Oblast, Khabarovskii Krai, Amurskaya Oblast, Evreiskaya Autonomnaya Oblast, Primorskii Krai and Sakhalinskaya Oblast, are reviewed. At present, 258 species from 73 genera of 19 subfamilies and six families of Scarabaeoidea are recorded from the region. The main literature sources from the middle of the 19th century to the present date are summarized, and the results and perspectives of lamellicorn beetle studies in the region are discussed.
