ABSTRACT. Data on the crane flies of the family Pediciidae from eastern Kazakhstan are reviewed on the basis of material collected by the author during 2004–2018. 15 species from 4 genera were identified. Two European species, D. (Paradicranota) gracilipes Wahlgren, 1905 and D. (Paradicranota) robusta Lundstrom, 1912, are newly recorded for Asia, and 12 species are registered from Kazakhstan for the first time. 10 species (67%) are Palaearctic in distribution, 3 species (20%) are East Palaearctic, one species (6.5%) is Holarctic, and one species (6.5%) is endemic to East Kazakhstan.
