ABSTRACT. Forficula mikado (Burr, 1904) is for the first time recorded from Sakhalin, Moneron and Kunashir Islands. Formerly it was reported by Japanese entomologists from the former Karafuto Prefecture (which included both southern Sakhalin and Moneron) without exact location. It was collected in synantropic territories, but in Sakhalin also in native forests.
