ABSTRACT. Four species of the genus Allophrys Förster, 1869 are found to occur in Mexico. Three species are described as new to science: A. arkadia sp.n., A. nataliae sp.n. and A. phradiformis sp.n. Allophrys nataliae sp.n. is also recorded from Guatemala and Costa Rica. Considerable variability of the fourth Mexican species, A. divaricata Horstmann, 2010, distributed from southern USA to Argentina, is discussed. An identification key to the species of Allophrys occurring in Mexico is given.
