ABSTRACT. A checklist of Istrian and Croatian Chrysididae is presented. The Istrian Peninsula is politically shared by three countries: Croatia, Slovenia, and Italy. We provide a list of species collected in Istria, following its geographical boundaries. The list includes 101 species, belonging to 18 genera; 41 species are recorded from Istria for the first time. Fourteen species are also recorded for the first time for Croatia, and we provide the first checklist of the Croatian fauna, which currently includes 145 species and 3 subspecies belonging to 20 genera. Historical data, together with comments on the current taxonomic status of some species, are also provided.
